Welcome

Welcome, and thank you for visiting the Post Church of the Nazarene web site.  We do pray that God will richly bless you.  If you live in our community and are looking for a church who preaches God's Word and how to live a holy life then please come and visit us.  If you will be passing through our area and enjoy sound biblical teachings then you are welcome.

The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition, tracing its roots to an anniversary date of 1908. It was founded to spread the message of scriptural holiness (Christlike living) across the lands. Today the Church of the Nazarene is located in 159 world areas.

The Church of the Nazarene is a Great Commission church. Our mission is to make Christlike disciples in the nations. We believe that God offers to everyone forgiveness, peace, joy, purpose, love, meaning in life, and the promise of heaven when life is over by entering and experiencing a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We are called to take this message to people everywhere.

The Church of the Nazarene is also a holiness church. We believe that Christians can experience a deeper level of life in which there is victory over sin, power to witness and serve, and a richer fellowship with God, all through the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

This Week's Sermon

Another year has come and gone and a new year is here!

We have all heard it said that new years are fresh starts; we can start with a clean slate; we begin to make this year better.  Well, there is a lot of truth in this and one thing we might would want to consider as we think about making fresh starts is renewing relationships, and the most important of all relationships is with God.  Not that we've slipped and NEED to renew our relationship with Him, rather, let's commit to renew it because we love Him and want more of Him.  And while we are at it, let's renew our relationships with our family and with each other.  And then, while we are on the subject of renewing, how about renewing our commitments to God and to the Church, to our family and to others as well.

Yes, New Year is a time of starting fresh and here is a good place to start.

May the Lord bless you and your family this New Year.
